Ty Miller

Ty joined Blistex in March 2011. He brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing leadership from positions at APP Pharmaceuticals (Fresenius Kabi), Hospira and Abbott Laboratories in the manufacturing of small- and large-volume parenterals. In those roles, Ty has navigated diverse sectors including pharmaceuticals, OTC, and consumer products manufacturing and product development.

Ty consistently demonstrates dedication to excellence, strategic leadership and passion for driving innovation in manufacturing and engineering. He is proficient in pre-commercialization readiness, supply chain preparations for commercial success, and cultivating effective relationships with external vendors. As vice president, manufacturing & engineering, Ty leverages his wealth of experience to drive the company’s manufacturing and engineering initiative forward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to consumers worldwide.

Ty graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, with an emphasis in molecular biology. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Gies Business School.
