Brian Satre

Brian joined Blistex in June 1994 as Category Manager for Healthcare brands. Previously he served in sales management roles with E&J Gallo Wine Company and Stimson Lane Ltd, and in brand management with Helene Curtis prior to its acquisition by Unilever.  At Blistex, Brian contributed to the acquisitions of Stridex, Glysomed, Odor-Eaters and Tucks, and subsequently led brand efforts on each.  He led Blistex’s USA brand teams from 2003 to 2021, and also led Canadian efforts from 2013 to 2021.  During his tenure, his teams launched over 65 new products across all Blistex categories.  From 2021 through 2024, Brian led Blistex’s international efforts in the more than 70 countries selling Blistex Inc. products outside North America.

Brian has a deep background in the OTC and personal care manufacturing and distribution sectors.  He enjoys leading and developing energetic and skilled teams drawing on extensive experiences in consumer product development and commercialization, advertising, brand business and equity development, logistics, financial management and market research.

Brian attended Washington University in St. Louis and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Subsequently, he attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (now the Booth School of Business), earning his Master of Business Administration degree.
