Tommaso Sardone

Tommaso joined Blistex in 2012 as director of quality and regulatory affairs. In 2017, he was promoted to his current position as vice president, product development & quality systems. In this role, he oversees quality, regulatory affairs, analytical development, and research and development.

Tommaso began his career in the pharmaceutical industry. There, he gained extensive knowledge of the technical, compliance, clinical and regulatory aspects of the development and manufacturing lifecycle of different drug dosage forms and novel drug delivery systems. During his career in the healthcare industry, he has held several global compliance positions of increasing responsibility at Pfizer, Pentech Pharmaceuticals, NeoPharm, Apotex and Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals. Tommaso has also served as a board member of the industry association Consumer Health Products Canada (currently known as FHCP).

Tommaso graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He is Regulatory Affairs Certified by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society and is Chief Product Officer Certified from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
